CBC News joins New Dawn Meals on Wheels’ delivery run for people in need in Cape Breton following the early February storm.
In discussions of the proposed CBRM Pallet Shelters and in ongoing discussions of the ways in which downtown Sydney is changing, misunderstandings about the work and clients of the Ally Centre of Cape Breton are common.
The questions below represent questions we have received about the CBRM Pallet Shelter Village over the last two weeks. They have come to us via e-mail and social media. Additional questions can be sent to amaclean@newdawn.ca.
In a series of white papers, Pallet Shelters looks at the impact of housing on healthcare and on public safety. Pallet Shelters is a US-based social purpose company that designs and manufactures rapid deployment transitional shelters.
